Useful to know

Convert text between UTF-8, UTF-16 little-endian, UTF-16 big-endian, and Windows-1252. Byte-order marks identify Unicode input; select the source manually when unmarked bytes are ambiguous.

An encoding that cannot represent a character is rejected. Choose UTF-8 to retain the widest range of text.

Supported formats and limits

Up to 5 MB per file. One input per job. Outputs use TXT format. Busy queues may ask you to try again shortly.

Do I need an account?

No. Every tool works for guests. Your favorites and saved settings stay on this device and do not include file contents.
